Bryant Tanner has been hired as an account supervisor at Sullivan-St. Clair Marketing/Public Relations. Tanner arrives at the Mobile agency from Ericson Marketing Communications in Nashville, Tenn., where she directed marketing strategies for all health care accounts. Tanner has also worked at McCann Erickson in Scotland and Atlanta’s Ogilvy & Mather.
Universal City’s Universal Music & Video Distribution, the award-winning sales and marketing division of Universal Music Group, the world’s leading music company, has promoted L.J. Hayden to vice president of retail partnership marketing. Hayden formerly served as director of retail partnership marketing.
Weber Shandwick has named Will Haraway senior account executive. Haraway will manage several of the Atlanta shop’s home-improvement and consumer clients.
Scott Remy has joined BBDO in Chicago as client service director, overseeing the shop’s cornerstone Wrigley account. Reporting to agency president and CEO Tonise Paul, Remy will also work on the Roche Diagnostics business.
Guillermo Tragant has joined Lapiz as creative director for the Publicis agency in Chicago. Most recently, Tragant had worked as regional creative director on the Coca-Cola business for McCann Erickson, overseeing a division that included Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Central America and the Caribbean.
Burson-Marsteller announced that Marcy Dockery has joined the Chicago office as a director in its U.S. technology practice.
Independent marketing shop Via, headquartered in Portland, has promoted Meri Page to designer from production designer. Via also has promoted Ian Dunn to senior writer.
Independent ad shop Modernista! has hired Hallie Bram as an assistant account executive. Bram will work on the Boston-based agency’s Napster account.

Burson-Marsteller announced that Perla Copernik has joined as director in its U.S. health care practice. Prior to joining Burson-Marsteller, Copernik was a global public relations director for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.
Creative Priority announced that it has promoted Douglas Dicconson to president. Dicconson was hired last year as vice president, director of client services.
Smithsonian magazine announced the hire of Matthew Barash as advertising sales account manager.
Jay Goldberg has been appointed publishing director of Mansueto Ventures, where he will be responsible for the publishing sides of Inc. and Fast Company magazines.
John Newall has become group account director at McKinney + Silver. Newall arrives at the Durham shop from Publicis in New York, where he was senior vice president and group account director.
Red Moon Marketing has named Greg Luehrs account director of motor sports. At the Charlotte shop, Luehrs will oversee sponsorship of the Jack Daniel’s No. 07 Nextel Cup car. He previously served as an account supervisor. The agency has also advanced Shyloe Cummings to account director of mobile marketing. Formerly an account executive, Cummings will now manage all mobile marketing efforts for Harris Teeter.
Robert Howell has joined RMM as an account supervisor. Howell will assist with event management for various accounts. He most recently was an operations manager on the Delta Air Lines account for Ignition Inc. In addition, Karri Chatham, Dereck Vogler, Martin Tijmes and Jimmy Harte have been added as account executives.
Erwin-Penland has appointed J.J. Puryear senior art director. At the Greenville shop, Puryear will work on the Firehouse Subs and Verizon Wireless accounts. The agency has also installed Kim Davenport and Jason Locke as senior designer and graphic designer, respectively, on Verizon Wireless. Annette Ruby has joined as director of finance. San Antonio-based Clear Channel Communications has appointed Michael Rapino chief executive officer of Clear Channel Entertainment SpinCo, a newly created entity that will encompass all of the company’s live entertainment businesses.

Boelter + Lincoln in Milwaukee has hired Lisa Huebner as a media director. It is Huebner’s second stint at the shop, having previously worked there as a media assistant. During the intervening three years, she worked at Arnold as a media buyer and at Hoffman York as a media supervisor.
