The Post Group promoted Scott Redlich from director of operations to vice president of operations. He will oversee technical, scheduling, staffing and personnel needs for the Hollywood-based post production facility. Redlich, 42, joined The Post Group in 1991.
Gene Wise joined public relations firm Edelman as a senior vice president for its public affairs and issues- management practices in Los Angeles. His focus will be on campaign strategies for both corporate and political clients. Previously, Wise, 40, held the title of senior vice president for Goddard Claussen Porter Novelli, where he wrote, directed and produced ads for California ballot measures.
Cactus Marketing Communications in Denver hired Abby White as business development director. White, 37, formerly served as director of business development for crosstown shop McClain Finlon.
BVP, formerly Business Video Productions, promoted George Karkatsanis to new business development manager. Prior to joining the Tampa shop in 2002, Karkatsanis was a division director at Robert Half International.
Huey/Paprocki Advertising in Atlanta named Jim Crone managing director. Crone previously was vice president of marketing for crosstown shop Blue Sky. His résumé also includes stops at BBDO, DWP/Bates Technology and Ogilvy & Mather, all in Atlanta.
Atlanta-based Infinitee appointed Kelly Siebenaler director of new business development. Prior to joining Infinitee, Siebenaler was director of advertising and promotion for The Creative Source in Winston-Salem, N.C.
ID Media in Chicago hired Rick Gillis as senior vice president, director of client services. Gillis, 42, will head the Chicago office and report to Gay Sussman, president of ID Media in New York. Gillis will be responsible for overseeing all media services, including planning, buying, reporting and campaign management for Chicago clients. He has more than 18 years of experience as an integrated direct marketing media expert on the agency and client sides. As vice president, client media director at FCBi in Chicago, Gillis helped build direct marketing media capabilities from the ground up. Prior to joining FCBi, he spent six years with Grey Direct as vice president, associate media director on IBM, Microsoft and Sprint. Clients of ID Media, which is part of Interpublic Group, include American Express, Johnson & Johnson and Verizon.
Mel Greve joined Kelly, Scott and Madison in Chicago as vice president, broadcast director. Greve, 36, was broadcast director at Initiative Media. She has also worked at Euro RSCG Tatham in Chicago.
Libby Johnson joined Modernista! in Boston as an executive assistant. She will work closely with agency principals and co-founders Lance Jensen and Gary Koepke to help coordinate overall shop operations. Johnson previously held a similar post at Imagine Entertainment and has worked as a freelance production assistant in film and music-video production. Modernista! also hired Joyce Chen as a new-business development assistant. She will work with new-business development director Ilya Rozhdestvensky on bringing new accounts to the Boston independent. Chen previously worked for Hong Kong shops AugustOne Communications and Shya-La-La.
Brent Heindl joined The Lord Group as senior copywriter, and Christine Clancy was promoted to senior account executive at the New York agency. Heindl, most recently a freelance copywriter with Euro RSCG MVBMS Partners in New York, has also worked at TBWA\Chiat\Day, Ammirati Puris Lintas, Ogilvy & Mather and Hampel/Stefanides, all in New York. In his new post, he will work on the accounts of all clients, including HIP, Kraft, Savin Corp. and the Travel Industry Association of America. Heindl will partner with creative director Mary Ann Maier and report to Brad Epstein, executive creative director. Clancy, who has been at The Lord Group since 1999, works on the HIP and Kraft accounts.
MRA promoted three staffers in its account services department. Valerie Pucello was elevated to manager of account services logistics; she previously was an accounting assistant. Deana Falbo rose to senior account executive; Falbo formerly served as an account executive. Annie Gensler was named account executive; she most recently was an assistant account executive. MRA is based in Syracuse.
Price/McNabb named Alon Shoval executive creative director. Shoval, 40, will start at the Charlotte shop next month. Prior to joining the agency, he was creative partner at Spirit Advertising in London. Shoval began his career at Ogilvy & Mather in London. His résumé includes stops at Young & Rubicam in Paris; Wells, Rich, Greene BDDP in New York; GSD&M in Austin, Texas; and Publicis & Hal Riney in San Francisco. He also worked at The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va., before returning to London.
Dix & Eaton in Cleveland promoted Kevin Poor to vice president of interactive services. Poor, 35, most recently served as director of interactive services.
Jordan Associates Advertising/Communications in Oklahoma City hired Mike Wilkinson as senior vice president and director of business development. Wilkinson comes from Oklahoma City-based Ackerman McQueen, where he participated in new-business development and was senior vice president and director of media planning.
Brandon Advertising in Myrtle Beach hired two staffers and promoted one. Eric Rutherford, 38, was appointed Internet production coordinator for the interactive department. He previously was a self-employed Web site designer and created, maintained and promoted Web sites for various businesses and organizations. Bob Neaus joined as production artist for the creative department. He formerly was a graphic designer for FastSigns. Nancy Greene, 23, was promoted to public relations associate in the public relations department. She most recently was a public relations assistant.
Dallas-based kReed+Co. added Schae Mulvey as vice president of client services. She will focus on public relations and new-business development. Mulvey arrives from Cooksey Communications, a Dallas-area PR agency, where she was a senior account executive.
Peter Stark was named associate art director at Lisaius Marketing in Burlington. Stark is a designer who has worked at the company for four years, most recently as design manager.
