PJA Appoints Account Services Chief

BOSTON Adam Sholley has joined PJA as senior vice president of account services, a new post at the agency.

He joins the Cambridge, Mass.-based shop after three years at Swardlick Marketing Group in Portland, Maine, most recently as a managing director, where he worked on accounts such as Cadbury Schweppes, L.L. Bean and Bentley College.

Prior to Swardlick, Sholley was svp, chief marketing officer at Breakaway Solutions, a branding company in Boston. He also has held account management posts at Havas’ Arnold.

“He is a talented and strategic thinker who brings deep experience managing large, integrated brand campaigns,” said PJA partner Mike O’Toole, in a statement. “We’ve been on a growth path over the past year, and I’m confident Adam will help us continue the momentum.”

PJA claims $45 million in billings and works for clients such as Novell, Boston Scientific and Akamai. The agency maintains an office in San Francisco.
