Kim Haskell was named director of business development at Chiat/Day, Venice, Calif. Haskell, 40, was formerly associate publisher of Motor Trend and L.A. ad director for Newsweek.
Stephen J. Seabolt was named publisher of Sunset magazine. He was formerly Western regional ad sales vp for Time.
Gary Geyer was appointed senior vp and creative director at Townsend & O’Leary/Laguna Hills, Calif. Geyer is a former creative director at The Marschalk Company in N.Y. and Bozell in Tampa, Fla.
Michele D’Amour was hired as a copywriter at Ballard Bratsberg Inc. in Seattle, where she will work on several accounts. D’Amour previously worked at the EvansGroup, where she served as a copywriter on the agency’s Egghead Software account.
