Ogilvy, Mindshare Win $20 Mil. Delta Business

NEW YORK WPP Group’s Ogilvy & Mather has been hired by Delta Air Lines following a review, besting Omnicom Group’s BBDO to pick up the estimated $20 million account, sources said.

O&M in New York and BBDO’s New York and Atlanta offices pitched in tandem with their media siblings Mindshare and OMD, and the process was handled as a single review [Adweek Online, Oct. 1].

The review was managed by Rojek Consulting Group’s offices in Cleveland and New York.

Rojek Consuling Group could not immediately be reached. Delta declined comment.

Delta’s ads have been crafted by independent Brighthouse in Atlanta. Publicis Groupe’s Starcom in Chicago handled media.
