New Shop Wins Gilbey’s International





NEW YORK – International Distillers Vintners, a unit of Grand Metropolitan, named a newly-formed agency, Krimstein/Clapps Ltd. here, as international agency of record for W & A Gilbey’s Gin. The $4-8-million assignment, previously handled in-house, does not include U.S. work which is handled by Fallon McElligott/Minneapolis. The new agency is headed by Ken Krimstein and John Clapps, the creative team that worked on the Hublein business at McCann -Erickson when IDV marketing chief Mike Sperling was the Hublein marketing boss.
