MPG Arnold Adds Media Chores for Irish Cider

BOSTON Havas’ MPG Arnold said it has added U.S. media duties for Magner’s Irish Cider.

The account is significant because it represents MPG Arnold’s first stand-alone piece of business since the Boston-based unit was folded under the MPG banner last year, the agency said.

Stuart Wooten, Magner’s export director, in a statement said MPG Arnold’s location in Boston, a city where the hard cider brand is already popular, as one reason the agency was tapped.

The budget was not disclosed. The upcoming U.S. ad push will be the brand’s first concerted effort on these shores. Irish agency Young Advertising, also owned by Havas, handles global creative.
