The New England Electronic Media Association has announced its 1999-2000 board of directors. Leslie Glenn, general manager of WLVI-TV, is chairperson. Radio executives Frank Kelley, general manager of the Greater Boston Radio Group, and Tom Baker, market manager of Entercom-Boston, were named first and second vice chairperson respectively. Jeff Sohinki, general manager of Greater Boston Cable Advertising, is treasurer and John Connors III, president of Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos Interactive in Boston, is secretary.
David Hart has been appointed southeast regional director of Van Schouwen Associates, which has offices in Springfield and Greensboro, N.C. Hart was most recently senior account executive for Atlantic Advertising in High Point, N.C.
NetMarquee, a Needham-based direct marketing agency, has hired Michael Borum as creative director. He was previously director of interactive media/MIS for Direct Results Group. Tara McMahon has been appointed content developer. She has worked in training and development at
Liberty Financial and as a TV news producer and reporter in New England.
AK Media has promoted Linda Shay to national sales manager responsible for New York and Chicago markets and Warren Hardy to national account manager with a focus on West Coast markets. Shay joined the Stoneham, Mass., company in 1992 and has been a senior local account executive.
The Weber Group, Cambridge, has promoted Scott Bauman to vice president from account director.
