Primix Solutions, a Watertown Internet services firm, has named Michael Troiano president. Troiano was formerly CEO of Ogilvy & Mather Interactive and has served as Primix senior vice president of corporate development since January.

Summit Technology’s board of directors has named Kate Sturgis Burnham vice president. Burnham joined the Waltham-based laser vision correction company two years ago from Reebok International, where she was head of communications for 12 years.

WCVB-TV Channel 5 has promoted sales promotion manager Amy Goode to the newly created position of manager of special projects in the Boston station’s sales office.

Cote & D’Ambrosio in North Kingston has hired art director Beth Ann Traina. She was previously a graphic designer for the TECO-Group, a computer-based training company in Buffalo, N.Y. Miles Dewez Henderson also has been named public relations assistant.
Jill Ryan has joined Thomas Rankin Associates of East Greenwich as an administrative assistant. She was previously assistant manager at The Limited in Warwick.
RDW Group has added Rick Piester as vice president of account services. Before joining the Providence firm, Piester was executive communications officer at Lifespan.
Jager Di Paola Kemp Design in Burlington has made a number of additions to its staff, including senior designers Tina Lauffer and Cody Hudson. Lauffer was a design director at The Attik Design’s New York studio, and Hudson has worked as a freelance designer and for the Weber Group in Racine, Wis. The production department has added digital production specialist Dana Sacks, digital production assistant Amelia Hoisington, photography/Web coordinator Jesse Loomis and administrative assistant Nita Costa. Sacks was with The Garlic Press in Williston. Hoisington worked at South & Hickory Concept & Design in Rochester, N.Y. Loomis was an associate photo editor at Transworld Snowboarding and will maintain the photo database for the Burton Snowboards design team at JDK. The firm also hired account manager Yvonne Zietlow, formerly with Scott Design Communications in Philadelphia, and assistant account manager Gregory Stranz.
