ARIZONA Louie Moses, creative director and president of Moses Anshell in Phoenix, has been named Ad Person of the Year for 1998 by the Phoenix Advertising Club. Winward Cooley in Phoenix named Alicia Wadas assistant vice president/director of public relations. COLORADO Strategic Medical Communications in Denver appointed Bill McGee vice president, copy group supervisor. Hagan Communications, Denver, an agency specializing in marketing communications strategies, added Kristi Fisher as a partner. NEVADA Dunn Reber Glenn Marz Advertising in Reno hired Bill Cane as art director. Cane comes to the shop from his own design shop, C & H Studios, also in Reno. NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Wolfe/Doyle Advertising in San Francisco named Tony Joseph to the newly created position of executive vice president, general manager. Gregory Klamm was promoted to vice president, director of print production, at Grey Advertising's San Francisco office. He moves from Grey's Los Angeles office, where he was a senior production manager. Also joining the San Francisco office are media supervisor Peter Marvitsas, account supervisor Susannah Bentley and assistant account executive Leslie Burns. OREGON Maureen Pulicella was named general sales manager at KINK radio in Portland. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Barbara Thompson has returned to Foote, Cone & Belding's Los Angeles office as vice president, media director. She most recently worked at Poppe Tyson, the interactive division of Bozell Worldwide, Costa Mesa. Prior to that, Thompson worked on FCB's Mazda business. Esprit Communications in Corona del Mar added David Agrela as director of client services. Diana Macfee rejoined Morgan Marketing & Public Relations in Irvine as account supervisor. Summer Heying was promoted from assistant account executive to account executive at the agency. Saatchi & Saatchi, Los Angeles, hired Steve Landrum as creative director, replacing Terry Balagia. The shop also added Eric Josten from its New York office as a media planner and hired Yoshi Nakamurs as an account supervisor. Joining the agency's interactive division are producer Matt Mayer, art director Bob Marcoulier and assistant account executive Coreen Tierney. Group account director Fred Koplin and media director Pam Pellizzon were named senior partners at Bozell Worldwide, Costa Mesa. The shop also elevated head of broadcast production Bob Belton and planner and researcher Michelle Purcell to partners. Mark Drozda joined Big Bang Idea Engineering in San Diego as principal and director of client services. Drozda was a principal at Oxford & Drozda Advertising, also in San Diego, for the past eight years. Big Bang also added Lauren Koenekamp as senior designer. Director of print production Anita Lee and account supervisor Erin McCoy were named vice presidents at Asher & Partners in Los Angeles. The Gable Group in San Diego hired Kindal Marin as an account coordinator. Teresa Elston joined The Miller Group Advertising in Santa Monica as director of client services. Elston comes to the shop from California Federal Bank, where she served as vice president, director of advertising. Western International Media, Los Angeles, named Lucy St. George executive vice president/managing director for its direct division. The media services agency also promoted John McNamara to executive vice president/account services. At Western's spot broadcast operation, Amy Nizich becomes executive vice president/regional broadcast director, from executive vice president, regional director of local broadcast. Sue Johenning, formerly senior vice president/associate broadcast director, was named executive vice president/director of new accounts integration. Tom Park was named senior vice president of Walt Disney Classics/Disney Direct Marketing in Burbank. WASHINGTON Seattle's Cole & Weber hired art director Sharon Barrett, producer Pam Murdock, electronic producer Brett Seelig, interactive account executive Jay Christensen and senior art director Heidi Flora. Parallel Communications, Redmond, hired Bill Brown to lead the account services team as vice president/management supervisor. Brown previously served as corporate marketing manager at Pacific Bell Mobile Services. Scott Fero joined JayRay Ads & PR in Tacoma as art director. Dietz Design, Seattle, hired Dannielle Moilanen as graphic designer.
