A FLORIDA
Susie Lehman has moved to Spiro & Waites Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations as an art director. Before joining the Fort Myers shop, Lehman was creative director at the in-house ad agency of Breeze Newspaper Corp. in Cape Coral.
Peak/Biety in Tampa has added Ken Johnson as account coordinator.

A GEORGIA
Lisa Lewis has joined Magick Lantern as senior account executive. The Atlanta film production studio has hired Lewis to work with clients on broadcast design, video editing, digital composition and animation.
Following company founder and president Rick Anwyl’s ascension to chief executive officer, Tod Martin has been named president of Atlanta’s EAI, a corporate communications consultancy. Laleah
Henderson, chief financial and operating officer, will also assume additional responsibilities, including for the firm’s print and digital production capabilities.
Jackson Spalding in Atlanta has hired Hugh Suhr and Stephanie Quinn in public relations positions to address client growth. The two staffers will strengthen the Atlanta company’s niches in financial services and sports public relations.

A SOUTH CAROLINA
A former staff member returning has joined two new associates at Jackson-Dawson Integrated Marketing Communications, increasing the company’s complement to 50 employees. Steve Whigham has returned to the agency as manager of marketing research and media, after working at the Greenville company as an account executive from 1992-94. Donna Wyman and David Buckley have arrived at the firm as account executive and studio artist, respectively.
The Leslie Agency has promoted Catherine D’Azevedo to vice president. D’Azevedo, who was recently named a “Media Star of the Future” by Newsweek, will continue as media director at the Greenville shop.

A TENNESSEE
Hammock Publishing has hired four employees and promoted two staff members. Production manager Barbara
Mathieson, writer Deanna Larson, office manager Julia Boklage and receptionist Lisa Ask have joined the Nashville-based provider of relationship marketing services. John Lavey was promoted from editor to publisher, and office manager Indi Corey moved up to group operations manager.

A VIRGINIA
Specialized marketing communications firm Direct Affect has added two individuals to its staff in Reston. Kyle Vining has been hired as a Web specialist, tracking and diagnosing clients’ sites to ensure peak performances. Ric Seaman has been named director of interactive communications, managing and marketing the company’s Internet client base.
Chris Franklin has joined the staff of Thurston Chapman & Associates as senior photographer. In addition, Dawn Westbrook has been hired as traffic manager at the Richmond-based agency. Lisa Ross has become the new administrative assistant and receptionist.
O’Connor Group Advertising Design in Roanoke has welcomed graphic designer Jill Jessee.
