Richard Mahan was hired by Grey Advertising, New York, as executive vice president, senior creative director. He will oversee accounts including several Procter & Gamble brands, Olive Garden, Playtex and Hasbro. He was most recently executive vice president, managing partner and creative director at Wells BDDP, New York.
Sean Finnegan joined J. Walter Thompson, New York, as interactive media director. He comes from APL Digital, New York, where he worked as vice president, assistant media director.
TBWA Worldwide, New York, appointed Rebecca Nugent to the new position of director, information services. She was previously manager, corporate communications at Wells BDDP, New York.
Aaron Reitkopf, director of account management at Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners, New York, has been elevated to associate partner. He joined the shop in 1997 after stints at agencies McCaffrey & McCall Direct; Ammirati & Puris; Angotti, Thomas, Hedge; and Lintas Worldwide.
Direct marketing agency Wunderman Cato Johnson, New York, has hired Mark Weninger as senior vice president, executive creative director. He was most recently senior vice president, executive creative director at Carlson Marketing Group in Minneapolis.
Sudler & Hennessey, the New York-based healthcare communications unit of Young & Rubicam, promoted Sal Chieffalo to chief financial officer from director of client finance. Before joining the firm in 1996, he was corporate controller at Ammirati Puris Lintas.
Susan Prosser was named an account coordinator at Benoit, Twomey & Partners, New York.
BSMG Worldwide, New York, has named Brooke Schiller managing director of BSMG Marketing Communications’ consumer marketing practice. She comes from Fleishman-Hillard, where she was most recently senior vice president and head of the food and beverage marketing practice in the New York office.
Moody Communications, New York, has named Peter Schlossberg director of operations, BVE Productions. Moody had entered into a partnership with BVE in order to expand each company’s
capabilities in the entertainment industry.
PENNSYLVANIA
Eve Dryer joined healthcare communications firm Vox Medica, Philadelphia, as president of its newly launched public relations subsidiary, Signova. She was most recently vice president and national director for constituency relations at Manning, Selvage & Lee.
Dudnyk Advertising, Horsham, tapped Leonard Mazur as account supervisor. He was previously a senior account executive at Ivie & Associates in Dallas. Ginger Li-Edling also joined the firm as a marketing specialist working on the American Cyanamid Co. international account. She comes from the Edling Group, where she was a management consultant.
VirTu, based in Philadelphia, hired Lisa Gower as director, media and direct response. She will lead expansion of the agency’s online marketing capabilities to include media buying and direct response via the Internet.
Tom Reese & Associates, Wyomissing, has elevated Alan Kline, Dan Fura and Diane Petree to shareholder. The shop has also changed its name to Tom Reese & Partners.
Knezic/Pavone Advertising in Harrisburg promoted two staffers: Robinson Smith rose to art director from graphic designer and Petrina Weldon was elevated to controller, office manager from bookkeeper.
Roska Direct, Montgomeryville, hired Bee Bantug as a senior marketing analyst covering its business-to-business and consumer pharmaceutical accounts. She was formerly an account supervisor at Thomas J. Paul. Edith Bissell, previously a customer service representative for Quaker State Leasing, also signs on as an administrative assistant supporting the shop’s account management functions.
CONNECTICUT
The Atlantic Group, Norwalk, has added several staff members.
Tim Smith was appointed assistant director, creative services. He was most recently a graphic designer at Planetwide Productions. Brian Miller joined the firm as designer from Clarion Marketing & Communications, where he was an art director.
Joelle Cohn and Steven Bollman were both named senior account executives. Cohn had held the same post at Scaros & Casselman; Bollman was formerly an account director with Desgrippes Gobƒ & Associates.
Tom Lantz has joined Relationship Marketing Group, Fairfield, as executive vice president of sales. He comes from Madison Direct Marketing, based in Greenwich, where he served as vice president of sales.
