Interpublic Group’s The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va., has hired Jonathan Sackett as its chief digital officer, a title he formerly held at Havas’ Arnold in Boston. “We were looking for an exciting, seasoned, digital visionary who could lead our digital offerings and expand our ability to innovate in this rapidly evolving arena,” said Mike Hughes, president and creative director at Martin. “We found all that and more in Jonathan. Not only does he have deep, world-class experience, we instantly felt that he shared our passion for collaboration and mind-jolting creativity.” At Arnold, Sackett helped develop efforts for clients such as Volvo, Citizens Bank, Fidelity, American Legacy, Royal Caribbean, Hershey’s, ESPN, Tyson and Radio Shack, among others. Prior to Arnold, he served as svp, director of digital operations at IPG shop Draftfcb.
