Lowe Lintas & Partners on Monday won the Virgin Mobile USA business after a four-month review, an account that ources said could be worth as much as $90 million.

Virgin Mobile opened its U.S. headquarters in San Francisco last year and will launch later this year. Virgin will be targeting its cell phone service to 18-to-24 year-olds.

The win takes much of the stng out of the $100 million loss of Sun Microsystems, which went to J.
