KMA Direct Hires Meredith as SVP

DALLAS KMA Direct Communications, a direct marketer specializing in religious and conservative causes, has hired former SCA Direct creative director Gary Meredith as senior vice president and creative director, the agency said.

A 27-year veteran of award-winning direct marketing, fundraising and capital campaigns for some of the nation’s largest nonprofit organizations and ministries, Meredith has worked at SCA Direct in Fairfax, Va., since 1995, the agency said.

“KMA serves some of the most credible and effective ministries and conservative policy groups operating today,” Meredith said. “The values and causes they promote are very close to my heart and, I believe, the hearts of most Americans.”

Tom McCabe, president of Plano, Texas-based KMA, called Meredith a “brilliant creative strategist” who has helped create more than a billion pieces of mail for such organizations as Prison Fellowship, Food for the Hungry, Concerned Women for America, Parents Television Council, Reagan Ranch, The Heritage Foundation, Easter Seals, Paralyzed Veterans of America, Mount Vernon and the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. His background also includes general advertising, grassroots politics and video campaigns featuring Chuck Colson, Ann Coulter, Michael Reagan and Pat Boone, among others.

“Many people who are willing and able to contribute far more don’t know the quality organizations that are making a real difference,” Meredith said. “I believe the potential for our clients is virtually unlimited.”

KMA clients include Family Research Council, Alliance Defense Fund, Open Doors and Wycliffe Bible Translators.
