Klein to Join BK as CMO

DALLAS 7-Eleven director of marketing Russ Klein is leaving the convenience store company and is expected to join Burger King as chief marketing officer. A representative from 7-Eleven confirmed Klein was leaving the company as of May 30, and said he will join the Miami-based fast-food chain.

Burger King has been searching for a CMO since Chris Clouser announced he would leave the company in February. Clouser’s retirement was effective May 1.

Calls to Burger King were not immediately returned.
