Kerker Captures Account of Taco John’s

CHICAGO Fast-food chain Taco John’s has named Kerker lead advertising agency on its $4 million account following a review.

The Minneapolis shop bested three undisclosed Midwest agencies for the account. Its duties will include creating advertising and in-restaurant materials for the Cheyenne, Wyo., company.

“In an environment where consumers seldom believe fast-food advertising, our challenge is to make Taco John’s stand out from the crowd in an unforgettable, believable way,” said Kerker president Chuck Kelly in a statement.

Taco John’s last known agency was Clarity Coverdale Fury in Minneapolis. The 34-year-old company has 400 locations in 24 states. The company spent just over $3 million on advertising last year, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus.
