J. Walter Thompson and Ogilvy & Mather have appointed a worldwide media director to oversee global media buying and planning for Eastman Kodak Co. Bob Zach was named last week as director of the Kodak media group. The Rochester, N.Y.-based company consolidated buying at the two agencies last November after using a number of shops around the world. Kodak spends over $200 million on advertising worldwide, said sources.





Zach will report to Jean Pool, executive vice president, director of North America media buying services at JWT, and Larry Cole, executive vice president, U.S.
