J.P. Morgan Chase is soliciting strategic ideas from at least two IPG agencies for a new credit-card assignment, the client confirmed. Sources said roster shops Foote, Cone & Belding, which created the client’s “The right relationship is everything” campaign, and Deutsch, which handles its b-to-b ads, are both in the running. Sources could not say if other shops will be involved. The client spent about $40 million in media from January to October 2002, according to CMR.
