CHICAGO Jim Beam Brands is conducting a search for a new promotions shop, according to a company representative. The company recently parted ways with WPP Group’s 141 Worldwide.

“They’ve decided they need two agencies and we’re not going to be one of them,” said Jay Farrell, president and regional director of 141 Worldwide in Chicago. He could not offer details on the Deerfield, Ill.-based company’s search for a new promotions shop.

A Jim Beam representative confirmed the review and said it would be completed in January.
