Comet Strikes Again
Comet Systems, the New York-based developer of the Comet Cursor, which allows sites to create branded cursor icons, today unveils a new addition to its technology offerings: the Cometized Banner, a combination branded cursor and traditional banner ad that can be delivered through traditional ad networks. New York-based ad network 24/7 Media said it will offer the Cometized Banner to its advertiser base to market across its network of sites. Since its launch last year, Comet has registered
13 million unique users and recently inked deals with RealNetworks and Mindspring.

Solbright Sells Systems
New York-based technology services firm Solbright today releases an automated workflow system to manage sales and production of Internet advertising. AdSuite is comprised of AdSales Manager, which automates sales and contract management, and AdTraffic Manager, for multiple workflow environments. Solbright also is releasing Dispatch 3.0, an upgrade to its online media buying, trafficking and reporting product.

YesMail Adds 4
Vernon Hills, Ill.-based permission
e-mail marketing firm YesMail.com added four new partners to the YesMail E-mail Network: IDG’s TipWorld, Homestead.com, Colleges.com and Net Nanny Software. The YesMail Network currently has more than 60 partners and provides e-commerce companies access to a database of millions of consumers who have “opted-in” to receive promotional messages targeted to their personal interests.
