Integer Revamps

After years of branding such companies as Coors Brewing and Iomega, The Integer Group is in the midst of its own top-to-bottom repositioning effort.

Integer, based in the Denver suburb of Lakewood, Colo., is one of the state’s largest shops. Owned by the Omnicom Group, the agency employs about 400 staffers at its headquarters and handles an estimated $300 million in billings there. The rebranding effort is focused mainly on emphasizing the shop’s integrated marketing talents.

“We have recrafted our vision, our position and values at the agency,” said chief creative officer Steve Stith.

The agency will revamp all of its own collateral materials as part of the rebranding effort. It is also set to use a new slogan: “Consistently dramatic results.”

A major overhaul of the company’s office space in Lakewood, meanwhile, has cost an estimated $700,000.

The agency is preparing to formally announce the changes, which include an expansion of its staff, at an internal meeting slated for Tuesday. Staffers from Integer’s various field offices around the country are due to arrive in Colorado for the meeting.

Concurrent with the Lakewood overhaul is a plan to expand the agency’s field office in Los Angeles. Until now, that outpost has been primarily dedicated to working on the Coors account. The office currently employs 18 staffers, but expects to add 10 more.

Sources said the agency is also preparing to announce the addition of a new Fortune 500 client.

In addition to the structural and philosophical changes, the agency has promoted nearly a dozen staffers, including five who received senior vice president titles: Stith; managing directors Peter Burridge and Tom Gooch; John Harris, general manager of Integer 2.0, the agency’s Internet marketing division; and director of operations John Moyers.

The strong growth of Integer 2.0 has led that division to establish separate offices to accommodate a doubling of its 22-member staff.

In addition to Coors and Iomega, Integer’s client list includes Procter & Gamble, Qwest Communications and Equifax.

The Integer Group network also includes full-service offices in Atlanta, Cleveland, Dallas and Des Moines, Iowa, and some 14 field offices. The agency was established in 1993.
