Ingram Exits McCann in U.K.

NEW YORK McCann-Erickson’s U.K. chairman and CEO Tamara Ingram has resigned after 14 months on the job, a representative in the New York office confirmed. Ingram, a 20-year advertising veteran, joined McCann in October 2001 after more than 15 years at Saatchi & Saatchi where she was most closely associated with Procter & Gamble.

The rep declined comment on who would replace Ingram, who reported to McCann-Erickson EMEA chairman and CEO Ben Langdon.

One source described Ingram’s account management style as being “warm, people-oriented and effusive,” and in stark contrast to that of Langdon, who is seen as having a “manufacturing mentality toward producing creative.”

Ingram is expected to finish out her term through the end of this month. Neither she nor Langdon could be immediately be reached for comment.

An announcement on her departure is expected later today.
