Informs Turns to PJA

BOSTON PJA is undertaking a six-month research and positioning assignment for Informs (the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences).

The agency in Cambridge, Mass., is tasked with helping the 10,000-member professional association devise new ways to build awareness of OR/MS (operations research/management sciences) as a rewarding career choice and to increase its profile in business, government, military and healthcare sectors.

The process could result in print ads and Web programs targeting senior technology and scientific decision makers, said agency representative Mike O’Toole. “We specialize in taking complex concepts and communicating them in clear compelling ways. OR/MS qualifies.”

OR/MS professionals use quantitative methods (mathematics, et al.) to improve business decision making. The client is based in Baltimore.
