IconNicholson’s Friedberg Exits for Sloan Group

NEW YORK Jennifer Friedberg, senior vice president of business development and marketing at IconNicholson, has left the interactive shop to become The Sloan Group’s first general manager.

In the new post, Friedberg will help oversee operations, business development, client services, account management, strategic planning, production, database marketing and media.

She joins the New York-based Interpublic Group shop after nearly six years at IconNicholson, the New York office of IconMedialab, where she developed and maintained relationships with clients like The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, Novartis Pharmaceuticals and MasterCard International.

No immediate replacement has been named for Friedberg, an IconNicholson representative said, adding that the digital shop is evaluating how to best fill her responsibilities.

Prior to IconNicholson, Friedberg was a senior partner at Ogilvy & Mather’s OgilvyOne in New York, where she worked on the IBM account. She also has held senior posts at Bertelsmann AG, Rudnick & Miano Advertising and McCann Direct.
