H&W Scores Homecare Homebase

DALLAS Hospodka & White has been hired by healthcare automation software firm Homecare Homebase for advertising and promotional chores.

“Hospodka & White took the time to listen and come back with a strategic approach aligned perfectly with our objectives, and then demonstrated how to take that approach to market,” said Tricia Collom, client svp, marketing.

The Dallas-based independent added the assignment from the crosstown client following a review. This marks the agency’s first new-business win since changing its name in March from Visao Partners.

The other contenders were not disclosed. The budget is in the six figures, and the media plan includes ads in trade publications (mainly for the hospice industry) as well as Web efforts.

Along with communicating basic product benefits, the shop will stress the increased level of care patients receive, said Warren White, agency principal. The win is important for the small shop because it generates momentum and proved the agency could leverage its high-tech expertise into the healthcare field, White said.

The Homecare Homebase application is designed to integrate and manage all aspects of homecare operations and eliminate duplicate data entry—beginning with a touch of a stylus on a pocket PC in a patient’s home. The goal is to make certain that everyone involved in the patient’s care has accurate and up-to-date information at all times.

Other agency clients include MADD, Nokia, ID Technology and Pilgrim’s Pride. The shop was formed in 2005 and handles a mix of online and offline chores across multiple media.
