Albuquerque Tourism Moves to McKee

DALLAS—The Albuquerque Convention & Visitors Bureau has removed its advertising account from 17-year incumbent Rick Johnson & Co. and placed it in the hands of McKee Wallwork Henderson following a review. Rick Johnson had defended the $600,000 account over three years. Said Steve McKee, president of the winning agency in Albuquerque, N.M., “We are excited to start the process of selling Albuquerque to the world. We feel that by having a stake in the outcome we can really put [the city’s] best foot forward.”
