Austin Kelley, Agency Founder, Dies at 67
ATLANTA–Austin Kelley, chairman and chief executive officer of Austin Kelley Advertising here, died March 26 after a long battle with cancer. He was 67. Kelley formed Austin Kelley Advertising (AKA) in New York in 1967, merging his company with Burton-Campbell in Atlanta in 1972 to create Burton, Campbell & Kelley. The current AKA took shape in 1975, and is one of the Southeast’s largest independent agencies at $85 million in billings.
