LOS ANGELES—Big Bang Idea Engineering will launch a branding campaign for Eagle One car care products in the first quarter. The San Diego agency edged out undisclosed local shops for the Carlsbad, Calif., company’s estimated $4 million account. Ads will appear in car enthusiast publications such as Car & Driver and Motor Trend and other publications targeting males 18-49. Big Bang also handles Eudora, National University and Garden Fresh Restaurants, all in San Diego.
VitroRobertson Heats Up Peet’s Coffee
LOS ANGELES—VitroRobertson is launching work for Peet’s Coffee & Tea designed to attract consumers to the client’s Web site. Work from the San Diego shop will launch in January and emphasize the availability of the client’s freshly roasted coffee beans on the Web. Print ads will appear in Sunset, Cooking Light and Food & Wine.
Starr Seigle Opens New York Office
LOS ANGELES—Starr Seigle Communications in Honolulu is branching out from its Hawaiian headquarters to open offices in New York. The agency is also renaming its public relations division, ProComm, as StarrPR Public Relations. The changes take effect Jan. 1. Starr Seigle is one of Hawaii’s largest agencies, and also operates offices in Las Vegas and Guam. Its total billings are estimated at $60 million.
JWT Launches Work for Atlanta Museum
ATLANTA—J. Walter Thompson’s Atlanta office has created a pro bono campaign for the Atlanta High Museum of Art. The collection features 400 photographs from Elton John’s personal collection. TV spots for “Funeral for a Friend” and “Chorus of Light: Photographs From the Sir Elton John Collection” break this week. “Come see for yourself” is the tagline. The campaign will run through Jan. 28.

Art Center Debuts Satellite Courses
LOS ANGELES—The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Calif., is launching its first satellite nondegree adult education night program beginning next semester. The new Art Center at Night off-campus program will offer advertising and design courses in 24 locations, including 14 in California. Eight locations are slated for San Francisco and three each in San Diego and Orange County.
