Horizon Forms Print Practice

NEW YORK Horizon Media today launched its Horizon Print Services Group, led by vp, director of print services Debbie Sklar.

The new stand-alone unit within the independent agency here is intended to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of media plans through negotiation of cost savings and value-added enhancements for all of Horizon’s print clients.

“It has long been Horizon’s intention to form a print services group,” said Carl Kotheimer, Horizon evp, director of marketing services and general manager, in a statement. “We’ve had a growing need to provide this dedicated service to our clients and the ideal person was in-house to run the group.”

Sklar has been promoted to vp, director of print services from group planning supervisor. Sklar joined Horizon two years ago from Interpublic’s Media Partnership, where she spent four years as planning director.

While at Media Partnership, Sklar oversaw clients like Starkist, Franklin Templeton Investments and Bloomingdales.

Headquartered in New York, Horizon also has offices in Atlanta, Orlando, Fla., and Amsterdam, Netherlands. It claims $1.5 billion in total billings.
