Havas’ Arnold in Boston dominated the recent 43rd annual Francis W. Hatch Awards for creative excellence in New England, scooping up by far the most gold awards (7) and most overall prizes (69). The shop’s best-of-show winner was a TV spot called “Squares” for flagship client Volkswagen of America. Six of Arnold’s gold awards came for VW. The agency also struck gold in the public service broadcast category for its work on behalf of the American Legacy Foundation’s anti-smoking program. Depicted is Arnold’s winning Legacy team: Ron Baird, Jeff Baxter, Jennifer Meinders and Roger Baldacci. The show is presented by the Ad Club of Boston.
