CHICAGO-Louisville, Ky., agency Halbleib/Beggs Inc. has acquired fledgling creative boutique Lippy/Mapother/Power Advertising, also in Louisville.
Former LMP partners Rankin Mapother and Kevin Lippy, who opened their agency in March, join Halbleib/Beggs’s creative department as vice presidents. Prior to opening LMP, Mapother and Lippy had been creative directors at Doe-Anderson Advertising in Louisville.
The third former LMP partner, Mike Power, will head his own graphic design shop, PowerGraphics. Tom Halbleib, chief executive officer of Halbleib/Beggs, said he hopes to work with PowerGraphics in the future.
Combined billings this year for the agency will be about $17 million, Halbleib said.
