Grey N.Y. Names Account Chief

NEW YORK WPP Group’s Grey here has named Bill Power evp, director of account management, a new position. He begins Oct. 22.

Power joins Grey from crosstown rival BBDO, a unit of Omnicom Group, where he had been evp, worldwide account director on General Electric for two years. At BBDO, Power was succeeded last week by Elizabeth Daggett, who was promoted from svp, senior account director. Power has also previously served as enterprise director of the Bank of America business at Interpublic Group of Cos.

At Grey, Power will oversee all client services and the delivery of the agency’s total communications offering, working closely with various partner companies.
