Grey Names Two

NEW YORK — Grey Worldwide has named Robert Montagnese evp, global account director for Pantene. He replaces Nancy Bachrach who has been promoted to chief marketing officer, a new position, and will report directly to Grey New York president Steve Blamer.

In a statement, Blamer said Montagnese is ideal for the position. “If he didn’t exist, we would have had to invent him,” he said.

Montagnese joins Grey from the Sci Fi Network where he was svp of marketing for three months. Before that, he was with McCann-Erickson where, for the past six years, he was evp group managing director for L’Oreal.

Additionally, Adam Komack has joined Grey E Marketing, a division of Grey Direct Marketing Group, as vp, group account director. He will be responsible for developing direct marketing programs that can show measurable Internet transactions.

He reports to Steve Carbone, president and managing director of Grey E Marketing. Before joining the New York shop, Komack was a vp and director of media services at LLKFB.

Established in 1994, Grey E Marketing develops Web advertising for traditional marketers through strategic planning, research, database, creative, media, technology and production.
