Greenough Makes Senior Addition

BOSTON Independent public relations agency Greenough Communications said it has hired Tammy Gilson-Hodge from International Data Corp.

As a manager at Greenough here (a new position at the 22-person agency), Gilson-Hodge will lead client relationships, supervise staff and help with new business development.

“Tammy’s strong communications skills, marketing expertise and in-depth background in information technology and life sciences make her a tremendous asset to our team,” said Stephanie Casey, executive vice president of Greenough, in a statement.

She will head up accounts including Intuit/Information Technology Systems, DatStat and Maps.com.

Gilson-Hodge, 30, brings with her seven years of experience in public relations and marketing, as well as expertise in key markets such as information technology and life sciences.

Gilson-Hodge also led the execution of the firm’s worldwide corporate telebriefing program. She had previously worked as a writer at Empire State Report, a public policy magazine, and as a writer and editor at Newkirk Products.
