Cameron, Kaplan to Support Spalding
BOSTON–Adding another tier of creative management, Greenberg Seronick O’Leary & Partners has hired Jim Cameron and C.J. Kaplan as associate creative directors.
Cameron and Kaplan were brought in to help support the Boston shop’s largest client, Spalding Golf Worldwide, which hired GSOP in August. “It was something that we knew we needed to do, and Spalding was the impetus to do it,” said agency co-creative director Peter Seronick, adding that Cameron and Kaplan will also work on other GSOP accounts in the future.
“We want to maintain the level of creative we believe in, so we needed to clone ourselves,” Seronick said.
Cameron, who also was named a senior vice president, previously served as a group creative director at Boston agency Ingalls, now part of Holland Mark Edmund Ingalls, where he worked on Citizens Bank, Radisson Hotels and Amana appliances. He also held creative posts with Arnold Communications, Boston; BBDO and Grey Advertising, Minneapolis; and Ketchum, Pittsburgh.
Kaplan had been with Arnold since 1996, most recently as an associate creative director working on the Stop & Shop account. He began his career at Duffy & Shanley in Providence, R.I. K
