SAN FRANCISCO – Goodby Berlin & Silverstein here shifted into gear on the Porsche Cars North America account last week as the first radio spots produced by the agency hit the air. In one, a voice calmly walks the listener through life’s disappointments, never walking on the moon and never being elected president, among them. It then presents the Porsche as one dream that may finally be in reach. A second spot describes a series of roads. The announcer says, ‘Wherever it may be, the road waits for one thing to make it perfect. The road waits for Porsche.’ The two ads are make up an interim campaign as GBS readies an effort for next year’s 911 model.
