Fountainhead Pringle CD Joins iD8 for TV Work

Bob Costanza, one of three creative directors at recently merged Fountainhead Pringle Dixon Pringle, has left the agency.
Costanza, 44, has been named executive vice president and creative director at iD8, formerly Sadler & Streib Advertising here. Principal Sharon Sadler has left S&SA, now headed by president Jennifer Streib. Streib said Sadler will continue to work with iD8 as a consultant.
Costanza’s departure comes less than four months after the two Atlanta agencies merged. He said “the urge to do a lot more television was the driving reason,” citing iD8’s upcoming production schedule of five spots in six weeks for various clients, including bargainclothing.com and a hair relaxer for African American women.
Streib said iD8 is an autonomously operated unit of Atlanta-based parent CTN. CTN’s primary subsidiary is College Television Network, a niche broadcast channel that airs exclusively at campus venues. iD8 is the in-house agency for the channel, on which most of the shop’s TV ads will run.
Streib said Costanza’s knack for connecting with an 18-24 demo made him the right man for the job. He worked on Starburst candy, Topps baseball cards and Oreo cookies while at Foote, Cone & Belding in New York.
