Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and EMI Music have partnered to provide hotel guests with a new music program of digital tunes and special offers from a catalog of EMI artists. The new program, called The Fairmont Music Store, is an online portal hosted on the Fairmont’s Web site. Guests visiting www.fairmontmusicstore.com get exclusive access to a catalog of digital music, and are able to browse and download songs, albums and specific Fairmont playlists from top-selling and emerging EMI artists including Coldplay, Daft Punk, Beastie Boys, Keith Urban and Lily Allen.
“Music is very emotive, and it’s a universal expression that almost everyone on the planet can relate to,” said Brian Richardson, Fairmont’s vice president, brand marketing and communications in a statement. “The Fairmont Music Store enables us to deliver a benefit that is not only meaningful, but also tailored to the individual. We’re excited to bring a personalized music experience to our guests and feel this is an innovative and interactive benefit that they’ll truly appreciate.”
The program also provides special benefits to members of the Fairmont President’s Club, the hotelier’s guest loyalty program. These offers include a 15 percent discount on any digital music purchased via the portal to special access and priority ticketing for special events and concerts featuring EMI artists.
The Fairmont Music Store is the latest project from EMI Music and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, which partnered previously on the Fairmont Fit program. This program offered adidas workout apparel and footwear to loyal Fairmont guests, as well as digital music players pre-loaded with hundreds of songs from EMI Music artists.
