Euro RSCG MVBMS San Francisco Names New Creatives

SAN FRANCISCO — Euro RSCG MVBMS Partners today named Doug Penman and Bertrand Garbassi co-creative directors of the shop’s offices here, agency officials said.

Penman has worked as a creative director at the Bay Area shop for three years. Garbassi will transfer from New York, where he worked as a creative director and headed the agency’s integrated marketing unit, formerly known as Fuel North America. The pair will report to Michael Kantrow, managing director of the San Francisco office.

“As our San Francisco and New York offices continue to grow and develop together with current and future clients, we have a great opportunity to bring our best creative ingenuity together in San Francisco,” Kantrow said. “Doug and Bertrand… are precisely in tune with our needs and vision.”

The news follows last week’s departure of Kevin McCarthy, who was named executive creative director of Grey Worldwide’s San Francisco offices (Adweek, June 24).

Euro RSCG MVBMS Partners San Francisco works with Intel, Juniper Networks, Inc., and The Picture People, Inc. The agency has roughly $115 million in billings, according to recent estimates.
