Euro RSCG continues to lead in the trend of agencies bolstering their digital offerings through acquisitions.
The Havas-owned network has acquired Project House, an Istanbul-based shop. This marks Euro RSCG’s third i-shop move in recent weeks, following its absorption of Acmic, an Indian shop, and Congruent, a U.S. firm, into the fold.
All of those agencies now operate under the aegis of Euro RSCG 4D, and the Project House buy is designed to strengthen the agency’s regional offering in terms of e-mail marketing, search engine marketing, advergaming and social media. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. An agency said rep said more acquisitions in the digital space could follow.
Euro RSCG isn’t the only global player on a spree. During the summer, WPP-owed JWT absorbed U.S. firm Digitaria; and Aegis Media snapped up Mitchell Communication, a major player in the Asia-Pacific market.
