A month after launching an ad campaign through Arnold, EMC Corp. has named 11-year veteran Frank Hauck executive vice president-global sales, services and marketing.

He replaces Michael Ruffolo, who remains an evp to oversee operating procedures at the Hopkinton, Mass.-based data storage company.

Hauck previously managed products and development. It was not clear what impact, if any, he would have on the agency relationship. Calls to EMC and Boston-based Arnold were not immediately returned.

After warning last week that it didn?t expect to meet its sales goals for this year, EMC Thursday reported first quarter net income rose 20 percent to $399 million on revenue up 29% to $2.34
