Circus Circus Enterprises has awarded the estimated $15-20 million advertising account for its Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino property to DRGM in Las Vegas.
The other contenders were not disclosed. To avoid a conflict, the shop has resigned its estimated $5 million MGM Grand Hotel & Casino business. MGM Grand has begun a nationwide search for an agency to handle its creative and media account, according to a client representative.
DRGM will handle both media and creative duties for Mandalay Bay, which is scheduled to open for business on the Las Vegas Strip next year.
“[DRGM] had extensive experience in the casino industry as well as with opening new properties,” said Mandalay Bay vice president of marketing Jack Leone.
