DOmedia, an online resource directory for out-of-home and alternative advertising media, announced Wednesday (Aug. 6) the launch of its expanded and enhanced online marketplace. The improved site includes new listings, a new interface and new features to smooth the planning and buying of the fragmented out-of-home and alternative media space.
The launch follows the company’s recent acquisitions earlier this year of two other out-of-home directories, the Buyers Guide to Outdoor Advertising and Out of Home Connect, adding additional media properties to the DOmedia database.
Since its beta launch last year, the database has grown to more than 25,000 out-of-home media listings, including regional and national providers such as Clear Channel Outdoor and CBS Outdoor, for a wide range of out-of-home media categories from wallscapes and digital networks to skywriting.
Along with a new interface, DOmedia.com features a campaign management tool allowing buyers to save, share and organize listings. An advanced search option includes the ability to search by market, category and venue. Buyers can also quickly view demographic information for the targeted area.
“The new DOmedia site puts valuable information at the user’s fingertips, simplifying the process of finding, buying and coordinating alternative and out-of-home media,” said Jeff Lamb, who was named president of DoMedia last month. “By providing the best experience for buyers on DOmedia.com when they are searching and organizing alternative media campaigns, sellers of these assets will easily connect with those interested in their media properties.”
