DMB&B Wins Lawman





DMB&B/L.A. has picked up Lawman Jeans’ estimated $2.5-million account without a review. There was no incumbent. The agency breaks TV and print in Midwestern markets next month . . . BBDO/S.F. has been named advertising agency for Glen Ellen Winery, the world’s sixth-largest producer of wine. The winery, based in Glen Ellen, Calif., selected the agency after originally holding a review for a promotions firm, in which BBDO was the only ad agency to participate. Though a budget has not been set, BBDO will launch what is expected to be a major brand-building effort for the vintner. . . . Bell Helmets has selected Mandelbaum Mooney Ashley/S.F. to handle its advertising. The division of Campbell, Calif.-based Bell Sports is the leading manufacturer of bicycle helmets in the United States. The decision consolidates advertising for the entire Bell Sports line under MMA. Billings were not disclosed . . . Hoffman/Lewis, S.F., has been named to handle advertising for the newly formed food company Napa Valley Kitchens without a review. The company markets mustard, flavored oils and other specialty foods. Billings were not disclosed.
