Digitas Names Boston President

NEW YORK Digitas said Torrence Boone would move from Chicago to Boston to helm the headquarters office of the interactive and direct marketing shop.

Boone, 36, was managing director of Digitas Chicago for the past two years. As president of Digitas Boston, he will serve clients like FedEx, General Motors and InterContinental Hotels Group. Boone joined Digitas in 2001 from Avenue A in New York.

Boone takes over from Rob Cosinuke, who is returning to client management and new business development after a year as head of the Boston office.

Barbara Mousigian, 43, will replace Boone in Chicago, where she has worked for Digitas since 1997, most recently as senior vice president of marketing.

Both Boone and Mousigian will report to Laura Lang, the agency’s national president.

Key clients of independently owned Digitas include America Online, American Express, AT&T, FedEx and General Motors.
