NEW YORK – DDB has won creative and media duties for the estimated $20-30 million ING Group account after a review that included TBWA\Chiat\Day in San Francisco and at least one other, undisclosed, agency.

The Atlanta-based client had given its account to Jordan McGrath Case & Partners/Euro RSCG in New York in November 2000. That shop did not defend. Media Planning in New York had handled media.

Blueprint Communications in Atlanta was the consultancy that managed the review.

DDB New York does not consider the new account a conflict with the shop’s Bank of New York account, since ING is a corporate assignment and BONY is retail. An agency representative referred additional questions to the client.

ING Group is the third win this year for DDB New York, which also landed the New York State Lottery and American Stock Exchange accounts.
