Three new José Cuervo print ads created by Arnell Group in New York have fun with wildly overstated prouncements. Disclaimers in fine print let consumers in on the jokes. One ad reads, “It makes you irresistible,” but adds, “Not true. Unless you’re already charming and handsome.” The ads break in March issues of magazines such as GQ and FHM. The client spent about $10 million on ads through November 2002, according to CMR.
