LOS ANGELES Viking River Cruises has contacted at least three Southern California agencies about assignments related to its estimated $8 million direct-response account, according to sources.

Much of that business, along with the company’s estimated $2 million media advertising account, has been handled by WPP Group’s Ogilvy & Mather in Culver City, Calif.

Lisa Juarez, vice president of marketing and communications at the Woodland Hills, Calif.-based company, denied that a review for any portion of the business is taking place.
