Comcast Expands Digital Cable TV Lineup

DALLAS Comcast is adding three channels to its digital cable offerings in the Dallas area starting on Tuesday, the company said. The new channels are Canal 22, FamilyNet Television and Once TV.

FamilyNet Television is religious family entertainment and informational network, the company said. Canal 22 and Once TV both feature Spanish-language programming.

“Comcast is very excited to add these three new channels to our digital cable lineup,” said Mike Cleland, Comcast’s area vice president. “We are always focused on providing a variety of programming that our customers desire.”

The new channels will be available in Dallas and its suburbs, the company said.

Comcast, whose regional offices are located in Plano, Texas, serves more than 500,000 customers and employs more than 1,400 people in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Comcast Cable is a division of Philadelphia-based Comcast Corp., a developer, manager and operator of broadband cable networks and provider of programming content.
